The short version. Questbound has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. Your campaign data is stored locally. Apple handles purchases, and RevenueCat verifies subscriptions using anonymous purchase information.
01About this policy
Blue Dot Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops Questbound - Party Tracker (“Questbound” or “the app”), an iOS companion for in-person tabletop play. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app, visit this website, or contact us for support.
You do not need an account, a sign-up, a name, or an email address to use Questbound. For privacy questions, contact support@questbound.team.
02Your party and campaign data
The information you enter in Questbound is stored only on your device. This includes:
- Your party roster, hit points, armor class, conditions, and inspiration.
- Character sheets, ability scores, and spell slots.
- Encounter initiative order and round information.
- Campaign journal entries, session recaps, and NPC notes.
- Loot records and your party’s gold ledger.
We do not operate a hosted campaign database, collect this gameplay content, or receive a copy of it. Your campaign content is not sent to Apple or RevenueCat for subscription verification. There is no Questbound account or cloud-sync service.
03No tracking, advertising, or data sales
Questbound does not contain ads, analytics, or tracking tools. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites, create advertising profiles, or sell your data. There are no sign-up forms or social-login providers in the app.
Anonymous subscription information, described below, is used to verify purchases—not for advertising or to analyze your campaign activity.
04Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes your purchases
Questbound Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes payment and manages billing using your Apple Account. We do not collect your payment-card information. Apple handles purchase information according to its own privacy policy.

RevenueCat verifies subscription access
Questbound uses RevenueCat to verify subscriptions and restore purchase access. For this purpose, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data. Questbound does not provide RevenueCat with your name or email address. This anonymous ID is not a Questbound account and is not tied to a name or email supplied by the app.
RevenueCat uses this information to determine subscription status, verify purchase entitlements, and support purchase restoration. It does not receive your party roster, character sheets, encounters, journal, or loot ledger.

Apple and RevenueCat handle purchase records under their own policies and applicable legal obligations. Their processing of subscription information is separate from the local storage of your campaign.
05When you contact support
If you voluntarily email support@questbound.team, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request and help resolve the issue.
Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information. If you send a screenshot or campaign notes, check that you are comfortable sharing everything visible. Contacting support does not give us automatic access to data stored in your app.
06This website
This marketing website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, third-party embeds, or tracking cookies. It does not offer account registration, a purchase checkout, or a stored contact form. The support email link opens your email application.
Hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the website. Operational hosting logs are distinct from app analytics. We do not use them for advertising profiles or to track you across websites.
Links to Apple, RevenueCat, and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. This policy describes Questbound and this website, not those independent services.
07Retention and deletion
Your local party and campaign data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Deleting Questbound removes its local app data from that device. Choose to delete the app rather than merely offload it if you intend to remove its data. Any device backups you manage through your device or Apple settings must be managed separately.
Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel separately in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Questbound. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your local campaign records or purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase and subscription records according to their own policies and legal requirements. We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, maintain support records, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Because we do not receive your locally stored campaign data, we cannot retrieve or recover it for you after deletion.
08Security
Local campaign storage reduces the amount of gameplay information shared with other services. Your device’s security settings and access controls help protect that data. We use reasonable care when handling support correspondence and rely on Apple and RevenueCat for their respective purchase-processing and verification functions.
No device, service, or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device protected, use up-to-date software, and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in support emails.
09Children’s privacy
Questbound is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, including through a support email, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to remove it.
10Your choices and privacy rights
You control the campaign information you enter on your device and can remove local data by deleting the app. No account-deletion request is required because Questbound does not have accounts.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold, such as support correspondence. Contact us to make a request. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the appropriate person, and some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
For information held directly by Apple or RevenueCat, consult their privacy information or contact them. We cannot access your local campaign data or erase records controlled independently by those providers.
11Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to Questbound or applicable requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We will describe any material changes clearly.
